I loved all the postings he made on Facebook that showed all kinds of different buildings.  I think I "Liked" one of them just recently and my mouth dropped open when I read he had passed away.  He was such a nice man and really had stunning creativity.  I am sure he will be missed by his family so so much.  God bless you Ron.

I was so sorry to see this.  I am praying for peace and comfort for his family at this time, he was a wonderful guy and I have very fond memories of him while we were in school.

I'm so glad I got to see Ron at the 55th.  We reminisced about our shared experiences working for Frank Welch and our love of architecture.  His current desire was to establish a School  of Architecture in the DFW area.  Such a loss to the DFW and Texas architectural community.  His legacy will live on through his many beautiful projects.  Rest in Peace, my friend.

Ron was my neighbor on Woodlawn from the 5th to 12th grades.  We carpooled to Lincoln together.  I was very proud of his architectural success.  My prayers and sympathy for his family.

It was so sad to learn of Ron's passing. We were freshman roommates at Texas Tech University but unfortunately, we failed to stay in touch over the years.  He had a great sense of humor, a major passion for architecture, and loved having fun. We should never forget that life is a short-term gift that shouldn’t be taken for granted. Rest in peace Ron.

It was so interesting to realize that one of my favorite classmates, Ronnie, since we were usually next to each other classes when seated alphabetically, (Mary Vinyard, Ronnie Wommack in Grendle's class) was such a gifted architect, He was so pleasant to everyone that it makes sense his abilitty to read and understand other people could translate into pleasing forms and lines for his individual clients. I was so excited to  realize that the remodel of a beauty shiop on Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene that I so admired was designed by Ron. He was a blessing to us in many different ways.

I am praying for Ron's family and friends in the transition of his loss from this life, but I am looking forward to seeing him again when Jesus Christ is revealed. May God surround his family with comfort, peace, and encouragement as they go forward without them.

I was so shocked and saddened by the news of Ron's sudden death. It was his former wife Monica that sent me a text of the news before I had seen all the posts on Facebook about his passing.
Ron was such a great guy and always so humble and kind.
His talent and accomplishments as an architect is just incredible, he will surely be missed in that capacity but his legacy will live on through all the amazing buildings, homes and structures he designed and brought to reality...  My heart goes out to his family and all who knew and loved him. He will never be forgotten.
I feel very fortunate to have had his friendship.
