Robert Garcia

They relocated to Abilene when Robert was one year old. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1969. His greatest love in life was being with his wife Yolanda, his son Mike, daughter- in-law Robin, and his two grandsons, Zander and Ryder.

Had talked to Petty Hunter after last December holiday and we both commented about Garcia. Very grateful was able to get his number from Joel Loya. I phoned up Robert and enjoyed our conversation. May we all remember what preserves our friendships through the years, where we grew up and and who we knew --good hearted Robert, was one of them.

Robert was a good friend in high school, but we lost touch for awhile.  Saw him at our class reunion and we remembered all the fun we had as Eagles.  Robert was always kind and lots of fun and I know his family will miss him.

We will miss Robert's kind and gentle spirit. He was a loving father to his son, Michael, a grandfather who enjoyed his grandchildren, and a wonderful husband to his wife, Yolanda.
