We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Carolyn J Hines

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19th 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 20th 2023 at 11:45 AM at the Elmwood Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).

I am so sorry to hear about Carolyn.  She was one of a kind, always a huge smile!  Prayers for God to flood her family with sweet memories to give them comfort and peace.

Carolyn was so sweet and uplifting.  She was kind and considerate and wonderful to be around.  She did love to sing when we were in high school and I bet she continued to sing in church.  She loved her Lord.  So sad to see her leave.  May God bless her family and bring them peace.  RIP Carolyn.

One of my favorite high school memories was hearing Carolyn sing in choir. Praying for sweet memories to comfort her family.

Bobbie Smith (McLaughlin)

I met Carolyn in junior high at Lincoln.  She was a really good person and a joy to know.  I know that she will be missed by many.

Vicki Lale (Blair)

I met Carolyn in 8th grade at Lincoln. She was always so friendly, and she had such a beautiful smile! Prayers for all who knew her and for her family!  She will be greatly missed.
